Get ready to get your hands dirty at stARTup Studios’ Wheel Throwing Date Night!
Join us for an evening filled with creativity, laughter, and romance as you and your partner learn the art of pottery together. Our experienced ceramic instructor will kick things off with a quick demo on how to throw a pot. Then, you and your favorite person will each receive one ball of clay to create your own piece.
Want to make a piece together too? You can add an extra ball of clay for $30 or decide during the class for an additional $40.
Please Note
Pottery can be messy! We recommend trimming long nails before class to make the process easier.
Also, keep in mind that using the pottery wheel takes practice and patience—it’s not easy to master right away. We encourage you to come with an open mind, enjoy the creative process, and focus on the experience rather than the final result.
Our instructor will glaze your pieces for you to give it a colorful and glossy surface. You can choose one color for each of your pieces from our studio glazes.

stARTup Studios serves a variety of beverages for your creative pleasure! We accept cash and all major credit cards.
– Craft, Imported and Domestic Beers – Craft Cider & Seltzer
– Assorted cold non-alcoholic drinks and bottle water.
– Bringing in outside alcohol is prohibited.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class time to be sure your check-in process is complete and your class may begin on time.
What to Bring
– Our studio is cold in the winter and hot in the summer
– please dress accordingly
– Please wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting messy!
