Let your imagination run wild!
In this hands-on ceramic slab-building workshop, you’ll design and build your very own animal-themed mug—complete with creative details that bring your favorite creature to life!
In this class, you’ll start by learning how to build the basic mug form using slab construction techniques. Then the real fun begins as you customize your mug with animal-inspired features—like a cat tail for a handle, a frog peeking over the rim, or even fun extras like cheese, fish, or leaves to match your animal’s personality.
Class cost includes materials, firing, and follow up glazing session.

– Bringing in outside alcohol is prohibited.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class time to be sure your check-in process is complete and your class may begin on time.
What to Bring
– Our studio is cold in the winter and hot in the summer
– please dress accordingly
– Please wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting messy!
Special Requirements
Glazing Your Piece
– Students will need to come back to glaze their own piece to give it a colorful and glossy surface. The glazing fee is included in the class.
– You will get an email notification to schedule your glazing date once we complete a bisque firing for your piece.
